Yves Nonciaux (from Orleans, France) visited on Monday, 28 December, 1998 and said:-
I am interested in meeting other Françoise's fans. How is it possible to have details about the gathering in Brussels next spring.
I was a member of the first Hardy's fan club in the sixties....
Hello Yves. Details on the Brussels gathering will be updated on the web page regularly, but anyone who contacts me will be kept up-to-date by E-mail.
Scott Wallace Brown (from Baltimore, Maryland, USA) visited on Thursday, 24 December, 1998 and said:-
Warren, thanks for putting together the site. It looks fantastic.
A few years ago, I found a copy of Françoise's US album JE VOUS AIME in a thrift shop... and it was autographed!!! It reads (in French) "To ____ [can't read the name] with my best wishes." I'm guessing it's a real inscription (who would go to that kind of trouble to forge Françoise's name on an LP?). No, I would never even consider selling it, so don't ask. I'd be glad to send a color Xerox to anyone who thinks they may be able to help authenticate it, though.
Hello Scott. Thank you for your comments. It sounds like a great find if it is indeed genuine. I personally could not authenticate the dedication for you, but there may be somebody out there who could.

Hello Amancio. Nice to hear from you in Spain, thank you for your comments, and I send greetings to you, on behalf of all the other Françoise fans.
Laurent (from Brussels, Belgium) visited on Saturday, 12 December, 1998 and said:-
In 1997, just after a break-up, I bought a present for a friend's birthday : it was the CDs "In vogue" volume 1 & 2. I listened to some tracks, almost at random. Then I found "Ouverts ou fermés". It was SO great, so sweet and sad at the same time. It was a real shock. I cried. That's how it all began ..
Congratulations for your site, Warren. It's really great. Françoise deserves our support.
Hello Laurent. Thank you for your comments. I can very well understand how this song would have had such an impact upon you under these circumstances. Music influences the lives of all of us, and I'm sure other fans must have their own stories.
Peter Chan (from London, UK) visited on Sunday, 29 November, 1998 and said:-
I have been looking for a Françoise Hardy CD called "All Over The World" on the Vogue label (ref: 670041) consisting of 18 of her songs and all sung in English. Most of the songs were of the 60's and made famous by the lady herself.
I wonder if you can help me find a copy of this CD, and if not, if you know of anybody else who may be able to do so? I have been looking for a long time without much success.
Hello Peter, I know the CD well. I bought it in Paris in 1989, but on more recent trips, have not seen it for sale. I expect that the only place you will find it now, will be at a record fair or record dealer, but probably not in the UK.
Can anyone else help? If so, please reply through this page or directly.
Sionaid (from Paris, France) visited on Tuesday, 24 November, 1998 and said:-
Hardy is one of the greatest icons of French music history.
Hello Sionaid, yes, Françoise will certainly have a place in French music history, not just for her individual sound and image, but for the truly international appeal of her songs, a feat realised by few others.
Andy (from UK) visited on Tuesday, 17 November, 1998 and said:-
When I was 10 I stole my dad's copy of "Françoise Hardy in English" and he never got it back!
It's battered now, but a year ago I found a copy in top-notch condition, for 50p (!!!!!), and now I can't stop listening!!!!!!
Hello Andy, you were certainly lucky to buy a good copy of this album so cheaply.
Although all the tracks have since appeared on CD, it's still a pleasure to own the original album.
Greg Gardner (from Canada) visited on Monday, 16 November, 1998 and said:-
Absolutely beautiful new photos and magazine covers!
I guess I haven't dropped in for a while! Love the site, as I have said before, and it just keeps on getting better!
Hello Greg, Nice to hear from you again. Many of the recent additions were discovered during a visit to Paris.
As long as I keep finding new material, I will try to keep the updates going.
Herman Wong (from Hong Kong/Los Angeles) visited on Tuesday, 3 November, 1998 and said:-
Your site is well designed. It is an excellent site for fans of FH to drop in to find out more about FH that we loved.
I first heard her hit song "All Over The World" in Hong Kong in 1965 and bought her album "FH in English". All over the world is a big hit in Hong Kong.
Ever since I became a devoted fan of FH for her beautiful petit melancholy voice with French accent when she sang in English. I love when she sing in French too.
Thank you for putting this site for FH fans.
Hello Herman, Thank you for visiting, and call back soon. The site will continue to develop, and will hopefully benefit from a wide audience.
"All Over The World" seems to be quite an apt title for Françoise Hardy fans.
Roger Francois LaFerrière (from Worcester, Massachusetts, USA) visited on Saturday, 31 October, 1998 and said:-
As you can tell by my last name my grand father was a Frenchman.
My French family is from Normandie, my American family is Abenaqui from Ste. Francois (Odanak) Quebec.
I first saw Ms. Hardy in the movie Grand Prix in the autumn of 1967.
I have been a fan of her's since - 31 years now and only wish her the best.
I'm still in love after all these years!
Hello Roger, I too went to see "Grand Prix" at about that time, but because Françoise appeared in it. There seem to be many of us from then who are still in love with Françoise, but also some youngsters too!
Ernesto Hernández Rizo (from México) visited on Wednesday, 28 October, 1998 and said:-
Congratulation:
I think your home page is great.
In Mexico is hard to find any information about European music, or persons.
Thank to Internet I could meet your page.
I think Françoise Hardy is a very wonderful artist, and a beautiful woman. I am young, only 30 years old, but I think if I could meet her I would fall in love with her.
One more time... Your home page is really cool.
Hello Ernesto, Thank you for your compliments. There were some Françoise Hardy records released in Mexico in the 1960s, but I don't know if there has been anything since then.
Keep a look out for them; they could be quite rare.
Linus (from Sweden) visited on Saturday, 10 October, 1998 and said:-
Hello Warren, and many thanks for this wonderful site. There's only one thing I think is missing; a good easy-to-understand discography! Of course there's Georg Rommerskirchen's site, but it's hard to find just the official albums she made in the 60's. And all other discographies starts with "Ma jeunesse fout le camp"! If you could help me, I would appreciate it very much! Thanks.
Hello Linus, Take another look at Georg Rommerskirchen's site. The discography has been updated, and now starts with a list of all the original albums, from the 60's up to present.
You see, you just have to ask. Well done Georg!
Eric Bilodeau (from Québec, Canada) visited on Thursday, 8 October, 1998 and said:-
Hello! Thanks for your great site... :) There's many pics I never seen before... 8) I'm a absolutely crazy adorateur of Françoise... :0
I love her ... I need her voice in my head ... always, always ... :)
AH oui! C'est presque une souffrance tant elle est belle...
Hello Eric, I'm glad you like the site. Many of the pictures come from the books and magazines featured. Watch out for an update soon.
Ines (from Macau, Asia) visited on Thursday, 24 September, 1998 and said:-
I'm really glad to find a web site that we can say "Hello" to other fans of FH, I have been her fans around three years ago when I listened the song "Revenge of the flowers" from M.McLaren's "Paris", (I also attracted by her voice and accent when she singing in English.) And now, she became my favourite foreign singer.
Hello Ines, Nice to hear from you in Asia. I have to admit that I had to get my atlas out to find out where Macau was. Most of the responses I have had have been from Europe or the USA, but I'm sure Françoise has fans in all corners of the world.
Marius de Paix (from San Francisco, USA) visited on Sunday, 20 September, 1998 and said:-
I have been an avid fan of FH for many years.
She is a very striking person in her stance, her looks and most importantly her voice as a singer and a writer of songs.
Hello Marius, It was the beauty of the French accent that first attracted me when I heard Françoise singing in English. My appreciation is much deeper now, years later, but I still find her voice very enchanting.
